MODINA

N. Correia’s MODINA project contributes to Goal 1. The project aims to expand the creative possibilities for contemporary dance performances using digital technology, and the conceptual building blocks will be re-used and explored when addressing knowledge creation and transfer within the context of this project. MODINA also aims to enable embodied knowledge transfer between artists, technologists, and researchers, and the outcomes will inform related activities in our proposal.

SITeS

Bauters’ Erasmus Mundus Joint Master project SITeS implements a master program which integrates sustainable societies, design methods and development of artificial intelligence solutions in collaboration with students, researchers, regional bodies such as cities and municipalities, non-profit civic organizations and start-ups to co-create knowledge and solutions for the society. The project provides an example of one type of integration model contributing to Goals 1 and 2.

EffecTive

Tammets will start leading the EffecTive project on 01.12.2023, focusing on developing methodologies to enhance educators’ digital competence, contributing to Goal 1. eDIPLOMA

Pata’s ongoing eDIPLOMA project relates to Goal 2 and aligns with TAIE requirement to test out various digital solutions, including virtual reality, augmented reality and spatial internet environments in remote learning and practice-based problem-solving situations. It contributes to paving the way to the new type of academia/workplaces co-embedded learning, codesign and mentoring practices that are partially conductive in remote settings.

Hybrid Regulation of Learning

Hooshyar’s project on Hybrid Regulation of Learning using Open Learner Models (recently awarded PRG) focuses on fostering self-regulated learning in digital learning environments. The building blocks of its predictive modeling approach will inform work towards Goal 3.

AI-MIND

One additional project closely related to Goal 3 is AI-MIND. Led by Sónia Sousa, AI-MIND develops AI tools to predict dementia onset.
