Authors
At least one author per accepted contribution must hold a paid registration by 30 June 2025.
The registration fee for doctoral students accepted in the doctoral consortium is fully sponsored by the European Association of Cognitive Ergonomics. A waiver code will be provided.

Cancellation policy
The following cancellation policy applies for ECCE 2025:
- Author registration cancellation requests received in writing before 30 June will be refunded with a 10% deduction covering administrative costs.
- Non-author registration cancellation requests received in writing before 18 August will be refunded with a 10% deduction covering administrative costs.
- No registration cancellation requests will be processed after 18 August.
- Registration cancellation requests should be sent by email to conference@tlu.ee.
Data privacy
ECCE 2025 is strongly committed to protecting the privacy of personal data according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Tallinn University Conference Centre is responsible for the management, storage and deletion of personal data related to ECCE 2025. The principles of data management are described below:
- The name and affiliation of keynote speakers, workshop organizers, and ECCE 2025 Organising Committee are shown publicly on the conference webpage.
- The name, affiliation and country of all participants is shown to all participants during the conference. This data is used for conference management and networking.
- The name, affiliation, country and email address of all participants, and the title of the presentation and the session of all presenters is used for communication purposes of the current and forthcoming EACE events. Tallinn University Conference Centre hands this information over to EACE, that stores this data until 31 December 2035.
- Data about actual participation is used for management purposes of the current conference. This data is stored by the Tallinn University Conference Centre and accessed by the members of the ECCE 2025 Organising Committee and will be deleted by 31 December 2025.
- The phone number of all participants is used in exceptional circumstances for management purposes of the current conference by Tallinn University Conference Centre. This information is deleted latest by 31 December 2025.
- Details on participation fee payment are used for organizing and bookkeeping purposes. Tallinn University Conference Centre will store bookkeeping data for 7 years according to the law.
- Credit card details are handled by FIENTA, the official partner of EACE and TLU for credit card payments, who is responsible for related data security and deletion.
