Workshop #4: Building Accessible Futures: See, Experience, and Rethink Accessibility (Canceled)
Description
Accessibility has gained more visibility in recent years, yet full integration into everything we do remains a work in progress. Our collective understanding of accessibility, and the wide-reaching benefits it brings to society, often remains limited. This workshop focuses on raising awareness and fostering critical reflection on accessibility. Participants will gain both practical experience and deeper insight through hands-on activities, such as trying out vision disability simulation glasses, and leave with a renewed perspective on how accessibility can benefit everyone.
Why Attend?
- Gain a deeper understanding of accessibility
- Engage in hands-on experiences with accessibility simulations and technologies
- Collaborate with participants from various backgrounds
Who Should Attend
We especially want to attract participants who have a limited understanding of accessibility, as this workshop will provide valuable insights for them. However, it is beneficial for anyone interested in accessibility, regardless of their prior knowledge.
Participant Selection
The workshop will accommodate 10–15 participants. If interest exceeds this number, priority will be given to those with limited prior knowledge of accessibility.
Important Dates
The registration deadline is 03.10.2025.
